AshantiGold SC opponent in the CAF Confederation Cup, FC Salitas have arrived in the country with one of their players testing positive for the coronavirus, Happy Sports has gathered.


Burkinabe side FC Salitas have arrived in Ghana ahead of their first leg encounter in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round against AshantiGold Sporting Club.


The game is scheduled for Sunday 29 November, 2020 at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.


The Burkinabe side arrived with a 15-man contingent at the Kotoka International Airport.


Happy Sports has gathered that one player of FC Salitas has tested positive for the coronavirus after checks conducted at the Kotoko International Airport and will be sent to the Ga East Hospital for treatment.


The team is expected to depart from the capital to Obuasi later today and the second batch also expected to arrive in the country on Saturday.


Officials for the game have also arrived at the Kotoka International Airport and will emplane to Kumasi later tonight.
